Loving the old Doonesburys

Since Gary Trudeau is working on another project, Doonesebury has been in repeats and I love it. The old strips are really raw and I like them so much better than the new polished stuff.

I was watching an extended cut from the Stripped film and Mort Walker, the Beetle Bailey creator, mentioned Gary Trudeau and his drawing or lack of drawing style more than once. No offense to Mort Walker, but I prefer Gary's drawing style, especially this old stuff. More here.
