Eight editions a day
I remember I would spend my visits to New York walking the streets and I was all over the place. Back then they had lots of newsstands and every time I passed one, I would see one of the eight editions of each paper being displayed, as you walked around, the front page would be constantly changing. Sort of like a digital newspaper now, but they were printed. Those presses must have run non-stop day and night.
