I need to get back in the game

Hi, I know it's been a while since I've blogged. Which is odd because when I blog, I do blog, I usually don't miss any days.

Since last May, I have been dealing with daily newspapers, trying to get Tomversation published in the papers, but it just seems as if it's futile. The circulation of newspapers is going down all the time, I know it's a digital world, but I had hoped that printed newspapers would rebound in circulation or at least stabilize. They aren't.

The newspaper editors are nice, but they have been stringing me along for almost a year. In that year, I put everything on hold. I went from daily online publication to sporadic publication, mostly in the Huffington Post. The Huffington Post is probably where I should publish daily, they are the number three online news publication, behind Yahoo and Google respectively.

I do have a plan now and it maybe doesn't involve daily printed newspaper publication, after all, what does that matter if the readers are online, I should go to where the readers are, right? I had hoped for newspaper publication simply because I had grown up with that. That is the very essence of comic strips, they were created for newspapers. That is where they belong.|

But maybe not. The younger generation who I would like to cater to reads their comics online. So that will be my future I guess.
